SECTION F FOOD PRESERVATION Convener: Sandy Auchterlonie 1-867-445-9072 All entries must be presented in a sealed jar, except those marked with an asterisk(*).  Wax to be removed from jams and jellies.  Classes will be split between entries with a) no added pectin vs. b) entries with added pectin.  Please mark your entries clearly.  Use required jar sizes.

Judging Standards

The following criteria are considered here:
  • Appearance: sealed, packed, labeled, jar size 50%
  • Colour ............................................... 10%
  • Texture   ............................................ 10%
  • Flavour ............................................. 30%
